Three Keys to Developing as a Leader

  1. Be intentional about being a leader.   Think about all the things you might have come your way and be ready for them.

  2. Be a learner.  Read, studying others who are effective leaders and have a mentor.

  3. Understand others have been in the position you are in now and have succeeded.   So do not give up even when it looks lost.

"Have clear standards for yourself.  Not long and not many but a few standards that guide you.  That way when issues arise, your decision process will be simpler because you will follow those standards."
