About Kevin:
Author Kevin Bryant, Certified Master Athletic Administrator (CMAA) has a unique background that has prepared him to write for those in this vitally important profession.
Investing seventeen years as an interscholastic athletic administrator and coach in Washington and Oregon following twenty years of intercollegiate athletic administration and coaching experience in the same states gives Bryant an interesting vantage point to share his thoughts, opinions and encouragements for those involved in the interscholastic athletic administration field.
Bryant is a former Athletic Director of the Year in the state of Oregon (2005) and served as President of the Oregon Athletic Directors Association (OADA) for two years 2004-2006. He was honored in 2006 by the OADA with the NIAAA state Award of Merit. He served as athletic director for Aloha High School, Beaverton OR from 1999-2005 and at Tigard High School, Tigard OR as Vice Principal for Athletics and Activities from 2005-2009.
In 2007 he was recognized for his service to high school athletic administration locally, regionally and nationally with the NIAAA Distinguished Service Award and again in 2009 with National Federation of State High School Associations NFHS Citation.
Bryant has been writing over the past several years for Athletic Management Magazine; Athletic Business Magazine; Sports Venue Safety Magazine and Coach and Athletic Director Magazine. He has also been fortunate to speak to AD’s in Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Oregon, Washington, New Mexico, and Wisconsin.
