About Ken:
Dr. Ken Briggs currently serves as department chair of the Physical Education, School of Public Health at Central Washington University. A popular Keynote speaker and workshop presenter throughout the northwest on topics related to health, teaching, and coaching, Dr. Briggs was named most inspirational faculty member at CWU in 2006 and received the most inspirational educator award in 2003. He currently serves as the Director of CWU’s Wellness Hour for faculty and staff and he is the producer and host of “How About Wellness,” a television show for the CWU campus television station.
Dr. Briggs has an Ed.D. from the University of Northern Colorado in Health Education, a M.A.T. in Teaching Methods from the University of Massachusetts, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado in Health Education/PE.
