About Ron:
Ron is the current President of the Palouse Road Runners running club and Co-Race Director of Moscow Mountain Madness trail runs on Moscow Mountain in September. He is an avid runner in his own right completing over 30 ultras and marathons since his first marathon in 2010. His passion on the trails developed while pacing and crewing a friend on the Wasatch 100 mile Endurance Run in 2009. Ron went back to run and complete his first 100 miler there in 2011. He joined the Palouse Road Runners in 2015 and took over as President of the Board in 2016. He has also organized the Kamiak Trail Series and Pullman Winter Ultras. During the winter months he also competes and referees in USA Powerlifting as much as his running and aging body allow.
Ron works in manufacturing management at Schweitzer Engineering Labs since returning to the Palouse in 2011. He is also a volunteer firefighter with Whitman County Fire District 12. He holds a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering from the University of Idaho.
