Maxing Out: What it Takes to Make a Career in Strength and Conditioning
Co-presenters Jayson Gibb and Brian Elzie will share strategies and tactics for making a career in the strength and conditioning field. Through personal examples, the audience will learn about how to overcome challenges facing professionals and current trends in the field.

About Brian:
Brian Elzie joined Washington State University as a graduate assistant prior to the 2018-19 year. Elzie has seen experience working for the University of Idaho, assisting the training staff with men’s basketball and football. He also oversaw lifting programs for injured athletes, and rehabilitation from injury.
Elzie is certified as a strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, as well as being a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Certified. He attained his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Washington State in 2018 with a minor in Strength and Conditioning.
